Peter Lawson has been playing and composing music since childhood. He is a graduate of Willamette
University in music composition and archaeology, and of University College London with a MA in
archaeology. His studies have included ethnomusicology, conducting, and music history. Peter is a multi-
instrumentalist with special interest in musical instrument history. His compositional influences include
Middle Eastern, Early, Romantic symphony, postmodern, and punk musics.
